Upon my recent stay at Aruna, I was immediately struck by its prime location, just a two-minute stroll from the captivating Corniche, with stunning views of the Bosphorus. It serves as a convenient base to explore historical gems such as the Hagia Sophia Mosque and Topkapi Palace. The dining experience at the hotel merits discussion. Breakfast was served in the basement, an area dimly lit with flickering lights. The selection was somewhat limited, and while I appreciate the simplicity, it lacked variety and options to customize or increase portions. It did not match the innovative culinary experiences typically found in a boutique hotel. My family and I enjoyed our meals at nearby restaurants like Balikci Sabahattin and the Byzantium Terrace. Both offered a delightful atmosphere and fresh seafood, elevating our culinary journey in the city. The staff, particularly Ms. Leilia and Mr Mohamed, played a notable role in our experience, proving to be warm and attentive throughout our stay. I would encourage travelers to explore dining options outside the hotel's premises for a more gratifying gastronomic experience.
